Through experience as golf professionals in Iowa, the tournament committee sensed a need for another competitive event locally that would give players an opportunity to compete in late fall.

One day while rummaging through the maintenance shed, an old set of tee markers from the original “Bos Open” in the early 2000’s was discovered by a committee member. That moment gave birth to the return of the event.

The Bos Open mission is to provide Midwest golf professionals with one final opportunity to compete in a quality event before the season ends.
